3 SMART QUESTIONS TO ASK YOURSELF BEFORE YOU OUTSOURCE YOUR PINTEREST MARKETING

When your business starts to grow, you soon realize that you just can’t continue to do everything on your own, and if you want to serve more customers and enjoy your life at the same time, you have to start to outsource.

If you know that your ideal audience is on Pinterest and you’re creating content regularly, you may want some help with this aspect of your business.

But when should you outsource Pinterest Marketing?

Let’s have a look at 3 questions you should ask yourself.

1. ARE YOU ON PINTEREST FOR THE LONG HAUL?

If you’re expecting loads of traffic in weeks, investing in Pinterest management may not be the best way to go. Pinterest is a search engine and it takes time to see results: sometimes even a few months! But the good news is that once the ball starts rolling, you can count on traffic coming to your website for the years to come even if you stop putting effort into it after a while.

For this reason, Pinterest is a great traffic driver, but you’ve got to be patient, like with many things in life.

Make sure your profile is fully optimized, create great Pinterest graphics and do keyword research for every pin you publish or schedule.

2. DO YOU HAVE VIDEO CONTENT?

Pinterest is pushing Video Pins and Idea Pins with video more than static pins, so having short videos will definitely help your strategy.

You can have any type of videos: you can talk about your content, your offers, yourself…basically anything that your audience will find valuable and engaging.

That said, I know there are some people who don’t like being on camera at all (I’m raising my hand!)

In that case, you can create some videos on Canva: you’ll need to create some slides, add text, photos and then animate them. You can also add some music.

With so many options, you have no excuses!

3. ARE YOU READY TO INVEST IN AN EXPERT?

Sure, you could have your VA doing some pinning and that might work for you, but just as you look for an expert in other areas of your life, a Pinterest expert will take this part of marketing out of your plate and you’ll be able to focus on your zone of genius, knowing that the best strategies and tactics are being applied for your business to grow.
